Races Booked!

Personally, the process of committing to triathlon has involved different stages.

The first stage was beginning a training program, using a website called Training Peaks. The second was investing in a nice triathlon bike. The third and last stage, which I accomplished earlier this week, was actually booking my main races for 2012.

I’m excited to have actual race dates to work toward! To get started, I’ll be racing the Scenic City Sprint Triathlon on April 29. I’ll then be racing the Rev3 Olympic race in Knoxville on May 6, the Chattanooga Waterfront Olympic Triathlon on July 8, and the Augusta (GA) 70.3 Half Ironman race on September 30.

Here’s to setting goals and moving forward!
